introduction posttttt?

 

Hi and welcome! If you're seeing this post then you've either found one of my posters or have located this blog by other nefarious means. No matter how you got here, I wish to extend a warm welcome to this little place that will be my writing home for however long!

 

Okay. Well. This place has picked up dust as you can see from the last post dates. A bit awkward, nonetheless. But while I am working on finding a new home for this blog (GOD WHY DOES HTML TAKE 5 F!@&*! DAYS TO LOAD!!!) I'd like to give a brief introduction, which seems fair. 

I'm Samir!! WOO WOO! I'm an 18 year old biology major who really just loves to ramble about music and many other primary things of interest. I'm not so interested in speaking about myself, and I prefer to let the music, pictures, or many other forms of art to do the talking. Intrinsically, this blog is not on schedule, so keep in mind that posts may be sparse or spontaneous. Depends. Also, I am heavily visually impaired so all posts will either be wide or bold for visibility~~

Uh, I write. Clearly. And I draw. If you wanna check out one-of-my-many tumblr sideblogs, here's a good place to start. Down the line I try to keep things accessible by linking music. If you don't like listening to music on youtube, then a different playlist can be madeee.. 

Rundown of the blog

This blog is not focused on rating music. For many, many reasons! The main reason being that music taste is objective, my 5star album isn't your prized album, and vice versa. I love engaging in discussion and recommendation, and I feel that the element of ever so definitively calling something trash outright is unfair and takes from the experience itself. I wouldn't tell you if my house had rats because you'd probably never want to eat in my kitchen. :P

Full album reviews depend on interest as a whole. Even if not interested, Samir still tries to find the positives within! Which are usually many because there's always something nice to be found in even the worst piles of rubbish. Hope we can find a common ground of taste, and exposure remains endless.

Why Blog?

I wanted to have an outlet that feels more productive than keeping my ramblings to myself. If I could find this much within music, then why not put myself out there? Blah, blah, blah. I'm heavily introverted and cannot bear rambling face to face. This solves that absolute burning feeling.
